Intangible cultural heritage as in addition to cover the expression and traditions of individuals throughout the globe, is additionally transmitted from generation to generation and regularly create by folks and teams per their setting, context and history, generating a way of happiness and continuity, causative to the promotion of respect towards cultural diversity and ability. This is often a vital issue for resistance to growing economic process, understanding the intangible cultural heritage of various cultures helps in dialogue between countries and encourages mutual respect with different lifestyles. Intangible cultural heritage provides collaboration for various systems, in ways in which like political, economic, social science, and even academically.
Some UNESCO cultural heritage cuisines are French cheese specifically Camembert and Brie, Michoacán/Mexican Cuisine, Llama Curry, Mediterranean diet, and French Chocolate.  Hence, one of the intangible cultural heritage that UNESCO had declared is the original Italian Pizza, and it is not stated yet in this paper. Therefore forward review and discussion is needed.
It has long been an essential part of Italian culture, and now UNESCO has awarded world heritage status to the Naples art of pizza-making. It was declared at a meeting on South Korea’s Jeju Island, the UN’s cultural body has unanimously declared the job of pizzaiuolo, or pizza-maker, “intangible cultural heritage”. Italy is, of course, the country of the pizza, but in Naples where the tradition first started. In 1889 with the first margherita pizza made as the old times things or techniques are done slightly differently. Pizzaiuoli spin and twirl the dough in the air with the same sense of ceremony as flair cocktail-making. It’s not just for show, however hurling the dough around is supposed to oxygenate it. Few who’ve tried the famously light pizza of Naples would disagree.
The city had been bidding for world heritage status for months, with petition supporting the bid had garnered two million signatures, and Italy had thrown itself behind this, it’s only national bid. While the committee stated that: “The culinary know-how linked to the making of the pizza, which includes gestures, songs, visual expressions, local slang, the ability to handle the dough, show oneself off and share it is an indisputable cultural heritage.”
While flatbread has a history that some date back to ancient Egypt, but the real or original pizza with tomato sauce was invented in Naples, Italy. Legend holds that pizza margherita was garnished with tomato, mozzarella, and basil, in the red, white and green of Italy’s flag, not forgetting it was first created by Naples’ Pizzeria Brandi to honour Queen Margherita of Italy during a visit in the year of 1886.
On the contrary today, there are all kinds of pizza sizes, shapes and flavours around the world, but the original Neapolitan pizza is round, with a soft, thin centre and thicker, crunchier sides. While consuming it, a person should be able to fold it in four and devour it as similar as a crepe. Finally that’s the main dish that’s now up for protection as an irreplaceable piece of global human heritage. So, Italy is gradually putting the art of the Neapolitan pizza maker on the list of candidates to become treasures of world heritage recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
While the appellation and universally recognizable, “pizza” happens, but that doesn’t mean it’s a sure announcement of the appellation. In 2016, the European Union included pizza in its official list of “guaranteed traditional specialities”. The list specifies that any pizza called “Neapolitan” must be no more than 35 cm wide, with crust of up to 2 cm high, topped with canned tomatoes, mozzarella from Naples’ Campania region, oil and basil. The pizza must be cooked in a wooden oven, and be elastic and soft. Italy had already boast more UNESCO-recognized cultural treasures than any other country. The final decision on whether pizza-making makes one more will be announced in 2017, after discussion with all 193 UN member-states.
